PSD offers a variety of programs that serve families and children from 0 to 5 years of age including federal Head Start, Early Head Start, Early Head Start Child Care Partnership, State Preschool, Fatherhood FIRE, and Home Visitation Program (HVP), throughout San Bernardino County.

- PSD Facility Projects Supervisor/Administrative Supervisor II
- PSD Program Manager
- PSD Program Supervisor
- PSD Supervising Case Management Nurse
- Fatherhood FIRE Program Generalist/HVP Program Generalist
- PSD Teacher Aide, Teacher I, Teacher II, Teacher III
- HVP Home Support Worker
- HVP Program Supervisor
- HVP Site Supervisor II
- HVP Teacher III
PSD is committed to ensuring that children have a Head Start/Jump Start on their education. Preschool services are free and available to income qualifying families and include options for children in foster care, children with special needs and those who are experiencing homelessness. Along with school readiness, children and families in PSD programs benefit from comprehensive services such as health, nutrition, dental and other services that promote family health and wellness. These services strengthen the family and improve a child’s ability to participate successfully in school.
The success of the agency depends on the dedication and quality of the staff, volunteers, students, seniors and present/former Head Start parents.
