San Bernardino County Human Services employees, in partnership with the County Administrative Office and Human Resources, raised $15,043 in a month-long food drive for Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County’s (CAPSBC) annual Food Basket Program.
Donations collected from the food drive help make a difference in the lives of those experiencing food insecurity in San Bernardino County.
“My sincere thanks go out to our County employees for their generous and selfless donations,” said Board of Supervisors Chair Dawn Rowe.
Each year, County employees make the extra effort to go beyond the day-to-day operations to positively impact the communities they serve.
“Over the past eight years, the generosity of County employees has resulted in an estimated value of over $60,000 in cash and 116,000 canned food items to CAPSBC,” said Assistant Executive Officer Diane Rundles.
