The San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) joins the many organizations across the nation in celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month in May. To recognize that mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood, DBH invites all emerging artists to create and share an original work that represents and embodies the theme of mental health awareness for 2024.
Submissions are open to all mediums, and any use of technology, including poetry. All artwork selected will be showcased at an in-person exhibition for our 2024 Meet the Artist Exhibition at the San Bernardino County Museum in May. A reception will be held on Thursday, May 16 from noon to 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend and support all the participating artists.
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being and must be reflected in the art submitted. Anyone interested in participating will fill out all the fields on the submission form and agree to the following terms:
- All artwork submitted will be screened for approval.
- By entering this exhibition, the artist consents to artwork being shared on the county’s social media platforms.
