The Land Use Services Code Enforcement Division recently participated in an Earth Day Cleanup event organized by Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. and his team. The event demonstrated the county’s strong commitment to environmental stewardship. Held across two locations in Muscoy and Bloomington, Code Enforcement assisted by providing equipment and staff support. With the participation of over 125 volunteers, the community rallied to abate illegally dumped trash, ranging from tires to furniture and household waste.
Code Enforcement, with the help of the San Bernardino County Solid Waste Management Division, also organized and led the set up of commercial-sized trash bins at two additional locations, encouraging residents to responsibly dispose of their trash, waste tires and e-waste. This collective effort not only commemorated Earth Day, but also significantly contributed to the beautification of our neighborhoods, fostering a greener and cleaner environment. Kudos to the volunteers and our residents for their contributions!
