On Friday, April 24, the Bloomington community celebrated the unveiling of new statues at Kessler Park, marking another milestone in the park’s ongoing transformation and enhancement.

This latest addition represents a continued investment in Kessler Park, following a series of recent upgrades with additional improvements still planned. Over the years, the park has seen steady progress, including enhancements to athletic fields and expanded amenities. Each improvement reflects a strong commitment to providing high-quality recreational spaces for residents and visitors alike. The newly unveiled statues now serve as a welcoming and inspiring feature for all who visit.

The project was made possible through the dedicated efforts of numerous partners. Special thanks are extended to Public Works staff for their hard work and commitment in bringing the project to fruition. Recognition is also given to the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, particularly Vice Chair and Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr., for securing the funding necessary to support this initiative, as well as to Garner Holt Productions for their exceptional craftsmanship.

Garner Holt Productions oversaw all phases of the project, incorporating advanced techniques such as 3D laser scanning, multi-piece 3D printing, and steel-frame construction to produce durable, highly detailed fiberglass statues designed for longevity.

Adding a unique and meaningful element to the installation, the statues were modeled after student-athletes from the Bloomington High School softball and baseball teams. This feature highlights local talent and celebrates the community’s youth, further enriching Kessler Park as a place of pride and connection.
