The San Bernardino County Library (SBCL) is excited to announce the grand reopening of its Wrightwood Branch on Monday, June 8, following a series of interior improvements designed to enhance the visitor experience and better serve the community.
Community members are invited to join library staff and county representatives for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. as the library officially reopens its doors.
The refreshed branch now features new paint, updated shelving, new carpet, modern furniture and upgraded public computers, creating a welcoming and comfortable space for residents of all ages to learn, connect and explore.
โThe Wrightwood Branch Library has long served as an important gathering place for the community,โ said Assistant Librarian Kristin Stevens. โThese updates reflect our continued commitment to providing welcoming, modern library spaces that support education, creativity and lifelong learning.โ
The reopening also coincides with the launch of SBCLโs โCatch the Waveโ Summer Reading Program, running June 8 through August 2. Readers of all ages are encouraged to dive into a summer of books, activities and special events designed to inspire learning, imagination and adventure all season long. Families are invited to enjoy a lively performance by California Joe on Wednesday, June 10, at 1 p.m., as part of the reopening celebration.
SBCL encourages residents, families and visitors to attend the celebration and experience the newly updated library firsthand.
