

Celebrate Independence Day at Regional Parks

Celebrate Independence Day with family and friends at Calico Ghost Town, Cucamonga-Guasti, Glen Helen, Mojave Narrows, Prado or Yucaipa Regional Parks on Saturday, July 4, from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can also enjoy a free fireworks show at Lake Gregory in Crestline on Friday, July 3, at 9 p.m.
Regional Parks offer lakes for fishing, hiking trails, picnic shelters and tables with barbecue grills, plenty of open spaces for group activities, playgrounds, splash pads and pool complexes. Leashed pets are always welcome in our parks too!
Both Glen Helen and Yucaipa offer lagoon-style pools with waterslides and are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Glen Helen also offers a new rodeo-themed splash pad inside the swim complex along with a new snack bar. Splash pads are also available at Cucamonga-Guasti, Prado and Mojave Narrows.
Fishing is available at Guasti, Glen Helen, Mojave Narrows, Prado and Yucaipa. No fishing license is required on July 4.
Guasti, Glen Helen, Mojave Narrows and Yucaipa will receive a double-stocking of 1,210 lbs. of fish on Thursday, July 2. Prado will receive 605 lbs. of fish.
Admission for Calico Ghost Town is $8 for adults, $5 for youth ages 4-11, and kids under age 3 are free. Admission is free for those camping at Calico.
Admission to all other parks is $20 per vehicle. Camping reservations can be made online at parkreservations.sbcounty.gov.

Lake Gregory’s 6th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza Show

Join us at Lake Gregory for the 6th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza Show on Friday, July 3, at 9 p.m. The show will be held at 24171 Lake Drive in Crestline. Admission is free, and complimentary parking is available at the North Shore Beach lot beginning at 6:30 p.m. Bring a blanket and find a spot to enjoy the event.
You can also spend the day at Lake Gregory enjoying its beach-style swimming area, waterslides, inflatable waterpark, splash pad, snack bar and boat rentals.
Beach Access Passes
- General Access Beach Pass: $17/day and includes park entry, beach and splash pad access.
- All-Access Beach Pass: $32/day and includes park entry, beach and splash pad, waterslides and inflatable waterpark.

Crestline July 4th Jamboree Days Parade & Festival

Create fun bubble magic at Guasti Regional Park with Rainbow Bubbles activity

Get ready to blow bubbles and create something magical with Regional Parks during this hands-on family Art in the Park: Rainbow Bubbles activity at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park on Tuesday, July 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Step into a world of color and foam as you watch bright, swirling bubbles come to life right in front of you. With just a few simple materials, you’ll create long flowing bubble “snakes” that grow and stretch.
This playful, magical sensory experience is all about experimenting, exploring and having fun together.
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to create, play and discover — perfect for families looking to add a little extra color and joy to their day!
All supplies will be provided while they last. All ages are welcome! Leashed pets are welcome too!
NOTE: Participants are asked to bring an empty water bottle.
Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park offers the perfect landscape to spend the day at the park fishing, biking, playing on the playground, cooling off at the splash pad, picnicking and grilling. Pack the car and come out for this exciting day of exploring the great outdoors.
Guasti is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is located at 800 N. Archibald Ave. in Ontario.
General park admission is $10 per vehicle Monday through Friday, $15 per vehicle Saturday and Sunday, and $20 per vehicle on holidays.

Regional Parks to host Art in the Park: Watercolor Jellyfish activity at Glen Helen

Join San Bernardino County Regional Parks for the Art in the Park: Watercolor Jellyfish activity on Thursday, July 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Glen Helen Regional Park.
This hands-on activity invites kids to explore their creativity as they design their own ocean-inspired watercolor jellyfish.
As they paint, participants will experiment with color and brushstrokes to create the flowing movement and soft textures of jellyfish in the ocean.
Don’t miss this chance to create, explore and make something truly beautiful — perfect for families looking to add a splash of color and creativity to their day!
All ages are welcome to join! All supplies are provided while they last.
Glen Helen Regional Park is the perfect place to spend the day fishing, hiking, biking, swimming at the swim complex with waterslides, cooling off at the splash pad, playing on the playgrounds, picnicking, grilling or disc golfing. Explore Mojave River Forks for a nighttime adventure spotting nocturnal wildlife

Get ready to explore the wonders of the night as we search for owls, glowing scorpions and other nocturnal creatures at Mojave River Forks Regional Park on Saturday, July 11, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Each walk is about 45 minutes and two walks are scheduled to depart at 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. from the campground.
With the stunning night sky as our backdrop, we’ll uncover hidden surprises and learn about the incredible wildlife that comes to life towards sunset.
This family-friendly adventure is perfect for explorers of all ages — so grab your flashlight, bring your sense of adventure and get ready for a night to remember!
Mojave River Forks is a campground with hiking trails. Please wear comfortable shoes, dress appropriately, bring a flashlight and water and/or snacks.
All ages are welcome. Leashed pets are welcome too!
Admission is $15 per vehicle. Due to limited internet connection, only cash is accepted or you can pre-pay and show your receipt at the gate when you arrive.

Splash into summer fun at Lake Gregory through Labor Day weekend

Lake Gregory Regional Park is open daily through Labor Day weekend. Grab your friends and family and spend the day swimming, racing down waterslides, bouncing across our inflatable waterpark, cruising the lake and enjoying delicious food with mountain views.
Lake swimming hours are daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Beach Access Passes

Lake Gregory has 84 surface acres for swimming, water sports and other summer recreation. Tag your summer crew and we’ll see you at the lake!
