The San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health invites community members, family members, service providers and community partners to attend a CARE Act Information Session on Wednesday, July 15, at noon. This free virtual session will provide an overview of the Community Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) Act and the resources available to support eligible individuals diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar I with psychotic features, or other psychotic disorders.

Participants will learn about the purpose of the CARE Act, who may be eligible, and what to expect during future CARE Act office hours. The session will also provide an opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable information about how the CARE Act can help connect individuals to treatment, housing and recovery resources.

To continue supporting the community, Behavioral Health will also host monthly CARE Act office hours beginning in July. These ongoing virtual sessions will offer a welcoming space for attendees to ask questions, receive updates and learn more about the CARE Act and its implementation.

Whether you are a family member, service provider, community partner or interested community member, we encourage you to join us and learn more about how the CARE Act can help connect individuals with the services and supports they need.
