We would like to thank Anna Duarte of San Bernardino for sharing outstanding photos that showcase another beautiful and interesting site in San Bernardino County.
Bluff Lake Reserve, located in Big Bear Lake, features towering pine forests and quartz monzonite rock formations surrounding a 20-acre lake. The reserve is also known for its mountain marsh and meadow complex, which supports a variety of native plants and wildlife. Visitors can enjoy easy hiking trails, birdwatching, picnicking, seasonal wildflowers and the reserve’s peaceful surroundings. For more information, visit the Wildland Conservancy’s website.
