San Bernardino County Veterans Affairs (VA) has been recognized with a prestigious Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties (NACo) for its newly launched website, va.sbcounty.gov. This honor highlights the county’s commitment to improving access to vital services and benefits for veterans and their families through innovative and user-friendly digital solutions.
“This recognition from NACo is a proud moment for our department and a reflection of our unwavering commitment to serving San Bernardino County’s veteran community,” said Matt Knox, director of Veterans Affairs. “It’s more than just a digital platform—it’s a gateway to the benefits and support they’ve earned through their service.”
The NACo Achievement Awards are presented annually to county programs that exemplify innovation, efficiency, and demonstrate a positive impact on the community. San Bernardino County’s VA website, launched in 2024, stood out among all 58 California counties for its collaborative development with the county’s Innovation and Technology Department.
