It’s time to vote! Ballots were delivered to the U.S. Postal Service on February 5, so you should have already received yours! So that leaves one question – now what?
The Registrar of Voters wants to remind everyone that voting early by mail is easy and secure. Avoid Election Day crowds, traffic or weather issues, and cast your voted ballot in the mail, postage paid. You may also cast your ballot by visiting an early vote site, a ballot drop-off location or a polling place.
- Vote by mail
- Return a completed ballot to any mail ballot drop-off location (you can choose from more than 70 secure drop-off locations throughout the county)
- Visit an early vote site (listed on our website)
- Vote in-person at your assigned polling place (found on the back of your county Voter Information Guide) or use our convenient Polling Place Look-up tool to find your assigned polling place.
Remember, for your mail ballot to be processed, you must sign the outside of your mail ballot envelope. Completed mail ballots must be postmarked, deposited into a mail ballot drop box, or dropped off at any polling place no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, March 5, 2024.
For this election, the American Independent, Democratic and Libertarian Parties are allowing voters who have not chosen a party preference to “crossover” and vote in their presidential primaries. To request a crossover ballot for one of these parties, visit My Elections Gateway at MEG.rov.sbcounty.gov or call 800-881-VOTE (8683).
