We would like to thank Mateo Cordova of Ontario for submitting outstanding photos of his favorite San Bernardino County destination, Chino Creek Wetlands and Educational Park in Chino.
This destination includes 22 acres and 1.7 miles of trails that feature a wide variety of drought-tolerant plants. The park also offers free educational programs focusing on water conservation, wetlands and watershed issues. The purpose of the program is to emphasize the value of conservation and the importance of wetlands for improving water supply, stormwater treatment and water-use efficiency. Additional park amenities include sampling stations, a picnic area, education center and an amphitheater. The park is located at 15975 El Prado Rd. in Chino.
