San Bernardino County’s award-winning efforts to create affordable housing continue to receive national attention.
Congressman Pete Aguilar (D-Redlands) and U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Marcia Fudge recently joined Board of Supervisors Chair and Third District Supervisor Dawn Rowe and other county officials on a tour of the county’s Bloomington Grove and Lillian Court developments in Bloomington. The projects offer affordable housing and amenities such as a county library and a spacious, full-service park and community center to families and seniors.
Aguilar and Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. spoke about the county’s successes and ongoing efforts in a video documenting the Bloomington tour.
