The Sound of Recovery II event is an extraordinary gathering that celebrates the power of music in the process of healing and recovery. This unique event brings together musicians and individuals who have experienced the transformative effects of music in their own recovery journeys.  
Through live performances, the Sound of Recovery II event aims to highlight the therapeutic potential of music and its ability to inspire hope, promote emotional well-being and facilitate personal growth.  
This event is not only a celebration of music but also a platform for raising awareness about the importance of mental health and substance use disorders. 
By bringing together musicians, students and individuals with lived experiences, the event fosters a sense of community and solidarity. It serves as a reminder that recovery is possible and that music can play a vital role in the process. 
The concert starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, at San Bernardino Valley College, 701 S. Mount Vernon Ave. in San Bernardino
